Wood chips, wood waste, and other residues from forestry and agriculture are all built by photosynthesis. The building blocks are water, energy from the sun, and CO2 from the atmosphere. We make use of these resources as input for our pyrolysis, an industrial process where waste resources become a valuable product consisting of more than 90% carbon. Biochar has a high resistant towards decay and can be stored in soil for centuries. By producing biochar based on sidestreams from forestry and agriculture, we remove CO2 from the atmosphere and make a positive climate impact.
